Questions
- Do my files get uploaded to a server?
- No. This tool runs entirely inside your browser tab. Your file is read into memory, changed on your own machine, and handed straight back to you as a download. Nothing is transmitted, so there is nothing on our side to store or delete.
- Which resolution should I pick?
- 150 DPI is fine for screens and is the default. Choose 300 DPI for print or when small text must stay readable. Beyond that, file size grows quickly for little visible gain.
- Can I extract the embedded images instead of the rendered page?
- Not with this tool — it renders each page as it appears, including text and vector graphics. Pulling out original embedded images is a separate job we have not built yet.
- Does it work without an internet connection?
- Once the page has loaded, yes. The processing code runs locally, so you can disconnect and the tool will still work. That is also a simple way to verify the privacy claim for yourself.
