Questions
- Do my files get uploaded to a server?
- No. This tool runs entirely inside your browser tab. Your file is read into memory, changed on your own machine, and handed straight back to you as a download. Nothing is transmitted, so there is nothing on our side to store or delete.
- Is there a limit on how many files I can merge?
- Thirty files per merge, and 100 MB per file. The real constraint is your device's memory, since every page is held in RAM while the new document is assembled. Large scanned files will use noticeably more than text-only ones.
- Will merging reduce the quality of my pages?
- No. Pages are copied across intact rather than re-rendered, so text stays selectable and images keep their original resolution. The output is usually close to the combined size of the inputs.
- Does it work without an internet connection?
- Once the page has loaded, yes. The processing code runs locally, so you can disconnect and the tool will still work. That is also a simple way to verify the privacy claim for yourself.
